THIS DAY IN ELVIS HISTORY... THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18TH, 1956 - MEMPHIS, TN.
Today, Elvis stopped for gas and was surrounded by fans.
The man at the gas station did not like what he was seeing and told Elvis to move on. Suddenly, a fight broke out. The man pulled a knife on Elvis and Elvis gave him a black eye.
Elvis was booked on charges of assault & battery and disorderly conduct.
