THIS DAY IN ELVIS HISTORY... FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 27TH, 1957 - TUPELO, MS.
Almost 1 year to the day, Elvis returns to perform at the fairgrounds in Tupelo.
It was for a benefit for the planned Elvis Presley Youth Center in Tupelo. The grounds of the center include his birthplace home.
Elvis donated to the center for the rest of his life.
